| Description | hHRT3 belongs to HESR family of basic helix-loop-helix type transcription factors. It contains a bHLH and orange domain, but its YPRW motif has diverged from other HESR family members. It is believed to be a downstream effector of Notch signaling which may be required for cardiovascular development. |
