| Applications | Western Blotting (WB). A concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/ml is recommended for WB. Human HMGB4 has a predicted length of 186 residues and MW of 22 kDa. Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |

What this means in practise is that a single amino acid difference may be enough to restrict the specificity to a particular molecule.
