DescriptionTheBiosensisGDNFRapidTMenzyme-linkedimmunosorbentassay(ELISA)KitisasandwichELISAthatallowsthequantificationofGDNFinlessthan4hoursincellculturesupernatants,celllysates,andserumonlyifusedasdirected.Pleaserefertothekitprotocolforspecificuseinstructionsforeachsubstrateapplication,inparticularratserumsamples.

ThisELISAkitconsistsofapre-coatedanti-GDNFcaptureantibody,abiotinylatedanti-GDNFdetectionantibodyandhorserADIshperoxidase(HRP)-conjugatedstreptavidin.Theadditionofasubstrate(3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine,TMB)yieldsacoloredreactionproductwhichisdirectlyproportionaltotheconcentrationofGDNFpresentinsamplesandproteinstandards.

ThisGDNFELISAkitemploysarecombinantratGDNFstandardandisthereforedesignedtomeasuretheratformofGDNF.Notethattheantibodiesusedinthiskitcross-reactwithmouse,humanandguineapigGDNF.

Thiskithasnotbeentestedforotherapplications.Ithasbeenconfiguredforresearchuseonlyandisnottobeusedindiagnosticorclinicalprocedures.
