DescriptionTheBiosensisratneurotrophin3(NT-3)ELISAKitisbasedonstandardsandwichenzyme-linkedimmune-sorbentassaytechnology.AmonoclonalantibodyspecificforratNT-3hasbeenpre-coatedonto96-wellplates.Standardsandtestsamplesareaddedtothewells,andthenabiotinylateddetectionpolyclonalantibodyspecificformouseNT-3isaddedsubsequentlyfollowedbywashingwithPBSorTBSbuffer.Avidin-Biotin-PeroxidaseComplexisaddedandunboundconjugateswashedawayagainwithPBSorTBSbuffer.HRPsubstrateTMBwasusedtovisualizeHRPdrivenenzymaticreaction.TMBiscatalyzedbyHRPtoproduceabluecolorproductthatischangedintoyellowbytheadditionofanacidstopsolution.TheintensityofthiscoloredproductisdirectlyproportionaltotheconcentrationofNT-3presentinthesamples.Thepurposeofthiskitisthein-vitroquantitativedeterminationofmouseNT-3incellculturesupernatants,andserumsamplesonlywhenusedasdirected.Thiskithasbeenconfiguredforresearchuseonlyandisnottobeusedindiagnosticorclinicalprocedures.
