Description	ThemouseTNF-alphaKitisasandwichELISA.Thecaptureantibodyisananti-mouseTNF-alphaantibodypre-coatedontothe96-wellstripplatesprovidedinthekit.MousetestsamplesandstandardsofknownTNF-alphaconcentrationareaddedtothesewellsandallowedtocomplexwiththeboundTNF-alphaantibody.AbiotinylatedmouseTNF-alphaantibodyisthenadded.Thisdetectionantibodybindstotheantigenthuscompletingthesandwich.Afterwashing,anenzymeAvidin-Biotin-Peroxidasecomplex(ABC)isaddedwhichbindstothesecondantibody.TheperoxidasesubstrateTMBisaddedtoinduceacolouredreactionproduct.TheintensityofthiscolouredproductisdirectlyproportionaltotheconcentrationofTNF-alphapresentinthesamples.Thepurposeofthiskitisthein-vitroquantitativedeterminationofmouseTNF-alphainsamplessuchassera,plasma,tissuelysatesandcellculturesupernates.Thiskithasbeenconfiguredforresearchuseonlyandisnottobeusedindiagnosticorclinicalprocedures.
