UsingAmylo-Glo®resultsinaverybrightblueUVexcitablestainunderphysiologicalconditionsthatwillnotbleedthroughwhenilluminatedwithotherfilters.Itsbrightnessmakesitidealforlowmagnificationquantificationstudies,whileitsuniqueexcitation/emissionprofileandmildstainingconditionsmakesitidealforcombinationformultipleimmunofluorescentlabelingstudies.Amylo-Glo®RTDiscompatIBLewithfresh,frozen,andformalin-fixedimmunohistochemistryorcytochemistry,anditisparticularlygoodforconfocalandmultiplelabelingbecauseofitshighfluorescentintensityandhighresistancetophoto-bleaching.MoreoverbecauseAmylo-Glo®fluorescesintheUVchannel,doubleandtriplelabelingexperimentscanbeperformedveryeasily(seeprotocol). |
